Genovese Pizzas

4 frozen 6-inch pizza rounds
1 1/2 teaspoons (each) crumbled dried basil and oregano; or
2 tablespoons (each) chopped fresh basil and oregano
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup grated Romano cheese
1 Spanish onion; thinly sliced
freshly ground pepper
1/4 cup olive oil

In this recipe, the onions are raw when sprinkled on the pizza, but if you prefer, sauté the onions in the oil before spreading over the pizza rounds. Place pizza rounds on lightly greased baking sheets. Sprinkle with basil and oregano. Arrange mozzarella and Romano cheeses over herbs scatter onion over. Season with pepper to taste; drizzle with oil. Bake in lower half of 450°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
