Ham, Bean And Spinach Soup soups, ham 2 cups chopped cooked ham oil 1 onion 2 carrots; chopped 1/2 teaspoon dried sage 1 can (19 oz) white kidney beans; drained and rinsed 1 can (10 oz) chicken stock 2 cups water 1/4 package (10 oz) fresh spinach; shredded or 1 cup frozen peas Brush saucepan with oil; cook ham, onion, carrots and sage over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add beans, chicken stock and water; bring to boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in spinach or peas; cook for 2 minutes.
