Ham Steaks With Beer Glaze beer, ham 3 2-inch thick ham steaks ----Glaze---- 1/3 cup brown sugar 2 teaspoons dry mustard 1/4 cup corn syrup 1 cup beer Cover pre-cooked, one-inch-thick steaks with water, then add two cups of beer. Bring to boil, then simmer for 20 minutes and drain before scoring the edges of the steaks. Place in shallow roasting pan and cover with the glaze. Bake at 375° F for 20 to 30 minutes, or until Iightly browned. Serve with rice and green beans.
