Marinated Barbecued Salmon

fish, bbq

4 6-ounce salmon steaks
----MARINADE----
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup rye whisky
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves garlic; minced

Marinade: In bowl, whisk together oil, whisky, soy sauce Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper and garlic. Arrange fish in single layer in shallow dish; pour marinade over. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 or up to 6 hours, turning fish occasionally. Remove fish from marinade. Grill on greased grill over medium-hot coals for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, turning once, or until fish is opaque and flakes easily when tested with a fork.
